Is this position full-time? What is the salary range? Does this position involve support/fundraising?

Yes, this is a full-time salaried position.  The salary range is from $35,000 to $50,000 depending upon education and experience.  This position would NOT have as its primary responsibility to fundraise.  On occasion, this position may assist CEF with events, mailings, and thank you calls, but would not be required to complete personal fundraising.

What are the primary ages that this position would be ministering to and working with in this position?

This position will be primarily working with elementary age children and limited preschool children for both the school year and summer ministry.  During the school year, this position will be working mostly with adult volunteers for Good News Club.  During the summer, this position works with teens/college students for Camp Good News.

Does this position involve any evenings or weekends?

While most hours are during the weekdays, this position will require a handful of evenings and weekends for church visits, teaching opportunities, events, and retreats.  During the summer, you must be available for one week of training camp for staff and for one week of overnight camp.  

What is Good News Club?

Good News Club® is a weekly Bible club for elementary school children. Clubs, which meet after school for about 8 sessions from October to December and about 8 sessions from January to March, provide children with the opportunity to gather with friends to sing, play games, memorize Bible verses and hear a visualized Bible lesson that applies God’s Word directly to their lives.  MC will recruit, lead, and train adult volunteers.  

What is Camp Good News – Day Camp?

This program is unique to the Fargo-Moorhead area.  Day camp is seven weeks of fun, fellowship, and Bible teaching for kids.   Kids learn about their Savior Jesus while learning about sports, drama, robotics, and nature.  Camps are held in the F-M area.  

    What is Camp Good News - Overnight?

    A week of fun, fellowship, and Bible teaching for kids from the F-M area in mid-August.  The camp will be held at Camp Joy in Dent, MN.  Kids are offered crafts, swimming, games, fun, and friendship.

    What is Camp Good News – Go Camp?

    Traveling summer clubs called Go Camps that are held 4 or 5 days in one week for 120 minutes each day featuring songs, games, mission stories, memory verses, and Bible stories.  These clubs take place in homes, daycares, and churches across the F-M area.  

    Besides Good News Club and Camp Good News, what other ministry opportunities does CEF of FM provide?

    We offer Christmas Party Clubs.  These are one-time clubs that focus on the Christmas story.  These clubs are also offered on other holidays as well.  We also offering training for adults (MC responsibilities would be to assist with this training).
